I have PBG3 (Lombard), 320MB, 20G HD, and Epson 1270 printer.
Loaded OS 10.1.1 (and Classic 9.2). Printing worked fine under Classic but not under OSX.
Got the Epson driver update for X, but it wouldn't load. Called Epson - they said remove all the old Epson stuff under Classic and re-try. It worked.
Went under Classic to reload the old driver (so I could print from Classic).When I tried to load the original Epson driver for OS9 from the Epson CD, I get the following message "Error creating folder 1008:9, -5000 Access denied error". Yeah, that's intuitive! Tried d/l'ing the driver from the web page, too - didn't work.
I have a BU harddrive that used to run through the PC Card slot (figured I could just copy), but that doesn't work under X. Also tried to boot from a 9.0 CD - that doesn't work under X. Short of finding another PB and copying the files to a CD to bring back to my PB, do you have any ideas? Thanks bunches. HNick
