Printing Labels from USPS.com

Has anyone been able to get the USPS site to print a label and complete the transaction? I can get the label to print out but then I can't hit the "Yes" button to say I'm happy.

I have Mac OS X 10.3.4 and Safari 1.2.2.

I tried it from Internet Explorer 5.2.2 and it does not even get as far as Safari does.

Plus... I tried the same sort of thing from paypal and it screws up in the process of printing the label.

Any help would be appreciated.

how does it screw up? To get PayPal to print right I had to use Command - (minus) to shrink the fonts down before printing.

The Paypal screws up by opening the printer dialog box and then immediately opens another dialog box that says "Did it print o.k.?" At this point, nothing has printed because the printer dialog box is still open. If you hit Cancel (no) in the second dialog box (the printer dialog box is disabled at this point), it goes away and the printer dialog box remains open. Hitting O.k. to that box prints the label but it has SAMPLE across it. If you hit "O.k." in the second dialog box, both dialog boxes go away and nothing ever prints.

As I mentioned before, the USPS process works fine until I hit the "Yes" box from the question of "Did it print ok?". At that point, nothing happens. The "Yes" box starts out faintly outlined in blue. The faint outline disappears and nothing is active at that point. It appears that everything has completely processed because the label comes out and eventually USPS sends me a notification that they have charged my credit card. But it acts like it just hung.

I'm not sure what causes this, but I have hit it on a couple of sites recently. I tried different browsers and FireFox was able to print the information even though the screen to be printed had already been replaced by another screen. At least it worked on one site that was doing that.
