Printing problems with 10.1.1

Ever since updating to 10.1.1, I am having trouble printing to my Epson 740i. The only thing that seems to allow me to print is to go to Print Center, delete than add the printer, then turn the printer off and on. Otherwise the job just hangs. Any ideas? I have to do this with almost every restart. I suppose I could just leave my Mac on forever, but there has to be a better way.

10.1 was perfect for me!
 
Well, the dock position thing just doesn't seem to be related to my problems with 10.1.1. This is really pissing me off - I just want to print! As a Mac user, I'm not used to this sort of thing. I guess I know what plug and pray feels like now.

Anyone else have printing problems after upgrading to 10.1.1?
