Pro Keyboard on Slot loading iMac

If I buy a Pro Keyboard (AU$130!!!!!) and plug it into a slut loading iMac, will the media keys (esp. the eject button) work?
 
On my old machine (400 MHz iMac Slot-loading) I spilled soda on the keyboard, then replaced it with a Pro Keyboard. All the keys on the keyboard worked as they should.

I am gld you found that funny, as I did.

I now am kicking myself, because.... I DIDN'T MEAN TO ASK ABOUT SLOT LOADING! LOL. I am a dumb-ass!

I mean a TRAY loading Rev. D iMac. Anyone know about this?
 
Look, the OS uses the keys (cept for Eject at boot I guess) so it should work fine, slut or no slut
