I am running Leopard 10.5.8
I am trying to share my ethernet connection through my AirPort. The only reason I do it is so I can get wifi on my iPod touch so I am definitely not buying a router.
Most of the time when I turn sharing on, nothing happens. Then if I leave sharing on and restart sometimes it will work. Also, a very slim amount of the times it turns on without the restart. Pretty much my AirPort stays on the wireless internet mode and doesn't change to Internet Sharing without a restart. I bring my computer to campus (where I use wireless) a fair amount so I have to switch between Internet Sharing and Internet mode fairly frequently and would like to be able to make the switch without restarting.
Note: I can usually switch to Internet mode without restarting, but cannot change to Internet Sharing mode most of the time.
