Problem creating SVCD!

1 . ffmpegX, when I enter all my settings, and want to create a PAL svcd from a 696mb .mov file, it creates a 850+ .m2v file, which cannot be burnt on a CD-(R)W,. because the max capacity is 700-750 on that kind of disk.

2. Forty-two, after it spend freaking 10 hours converting, the converted file is disappeared. Gone.



HELP! I'm going CRAZY~!:confused: :mad: :confused:
 
In ffmpegX, just lower the bit rate. It does have a bit rate calculator....

If you're bitrate is going to be something other than the standard SVCD bitrate (which is 2500), make sure you have the XSVCD profile chosen under the Options tab.

You can use MissingMediaBurner to overburn it if it is over 700MB (Around 810MB is the max you can put on a 700MB disc).

As for 42, it won't convert .MOVs. It just converts DVDs.
