/* Hmmmm... The title seems a bit truncated. I wonder how that happened. */
I'm having a problem with my Canon Optura 200 MC: it won't import video from the DV cassette to iMovie. When it's connected to the computer and is in "play" mode, the camera displays "DV in" and iMovie says that no camera is attached.
I might just say "Oh, well. It doesn't work." But someone else had a similar problem, and he was able to fix it. I tried what he did, but to no avail.
The strange thing is that when I transfer photos to iPhoto via USB, it recognizes the camera and displays a small picture of it (see attached). It will also transfer video in real time when the camera is in "camera" mode.
I have a dual 1.8 Ghz G5 running OS 10.4.7.
How can transfer from the DV cassette?
