Problem with fonts on web pages

Hello i have a problem with my fonts arial appears to have changed and now looks like this :
Well this is strange when i try to copy the text to this page it reverts to normal , But when i view web-pages ie a google page it looks like a very angular type of text , i have noticed that certain parts of the page do load okay ? i am not sure if my default encoding has something to do with this ? I have noticed that all appears normal with firefox ?
