problem with partitioned harddrive

I placed one part of a partitioned harddrive for a G4 in the trash
accidentally and it completely dissapeared immediatly. I didn't
empty the trash, could I have erased my harddrive that easily? Is
there a chance I jusrt erased to quicklink from my desktop?
 
You simply unmounted the volume, no damage done. EIther restart the computer, or open Utilities -> Disk Utility, select the disk you dragged to the trash, and click the Mount button in the toolbar.

For future reference though, this is not the right place to be asking questions. Please try to notice at least one of the places where this is written, as they are really not that difficult to see.
