problem with telnet

i have a problem with telnet , when i open a telnet connection my cmd works fine but when i am using jshell , the characters i am typing is displayed twice .

for example ..

i am typing ebs

but it is printing eebbss

i tried changing the telnet settings , but no use :(

solution plzzzzz
