Problems Installing Tiger 8A393

i have a powerbook 667 mhz with 768 MB Ram and like 10 GB in HD and trying to install tiger 8A393 on my ipod but when i run the installer it said "basesystem can't be install in this computer"

is ther any way i can install it or tiger wont work with my computer?
 
I could be wrong but you don't sound like a typical software developer, is your version of Tiger legit?
