Grr. I'm having a problem with my AirPort network today. This has never happened before, and it's kind of weird.
I came home from the airport (heehee) to find my AirPort connection on my G4 cube was totally nonexistant, even though I'm about 15 meters from it. So I try to use the AirPort menu extra to re-enter my password to join my closed, encrypted AirPort network (it used to work perfectly before). When I put in the name of the network and the password, my cube claims that the password is wrong to join that network. However, I know it's right, because my mom's iBook is still connected to the network, and I can come off of it and get back on it with the same password that I entered into the cube.
I've tried everything I can think of: I've unencrypted it and opened it, and my cube just gives an error when trying to connect to our network.
So what I want to do is totally delete my existing network settings, but I can't figure out which preference file does that, because it's not housed in a user-specific area, since all users can access the same preferences.
The other thing I could do is to reset the base station to it's default config, and then re-set it up. However, I think this wouldn't work because it's my comp having the problems, not the base station.
So can anyone else give me any more suggestions, and possibly where network preferences are stored? Thanks a bunch. I'd really like to get this problem resolved quickly.
