Problems with G4 dual 1.25 ram memory

hi i bought few mounths ago a G4 dual 1.25ghz with 512 mb ram and i upgraded with 1 gig in two slots : 512 plus 512 ,ns my sistem ..crahs everytime; my ram is :
1.kingston KTA_G4 333/512 (2.5v)
2.M/g4 512 ddr333 ( warranty for live)

so they are not the same ..can be the problem?????

P.D i have heard that more than 1 gig ram in G4 makes problems is it right???

More than 1GB of ram in a G4 is fine. That's not your problem, the ram itself is. Try one of the new ram sticks at a time to see which one, or both are causing it. Then return the one at fault.

thanks bobw but in the store they told that its a Dual machine it needs to get ram at pairs , never one stick alone ,,is it true???

yeaaaaaa thankssss one is right ..not the other and with my 1 gig is ok.....tomorrow will change the stick (im happy)
