The MacOSX Features Guide has gotten a lot more attention then I was expecting! Over 6,000 downloads within a few weeks! Just thought I would announce this here since most of the hits are coming from here:

The official, final, version of the MacOSX Features Guide will be released on January 20th, 2002. With over 60+ supported features, Apple's official website will be hosting the file for download (if we're lucky). So keep your eyes opened, the final release will be much more than the beta's I've been handing out here, so you might wanna look into it!

Comments are welcome!

I love the app, and I love this section. A while back I saw a thread about how to move the trash to the desktop but I was getting used to it being in the dock so I didn't do it. Now I'm realizing as I have lots of disk images and cds and downloads from the net that I don't want to wait for the auto hiding of the dock to bring up my trash, I want it there all the time. I couldn't find it in the tips tricks app so could someone maybe write it here or point me in the direction to find how to do it? If I can recall correctly, there was a terminal way and a brute force way(copying it to a finder toolbar and then onto the desktop somehow). I'm sure a trick like that would want to make it into this appendix.

I love ya Ed (no, not THAT way) but I'm going to disagree with you for the first (or second?) time ever -- I'm not a big fan of Trash X. It's slow and is really a separate app. If you're going to have an app running, why not use Drag Thing? It's much better for Trash Can use (and is useful in and of itself). Check it out. ;)
