What have I misconfigured?
OSX 10.2.4 and pure-ftpd started by StartupItem: /usr/local/sbin/pure-ftpd -4 -A -E -p 40000:40050 -c 5 -C 3 -I 5 -u 1 -K -l mysql:/etc/pureftpd-mysql.conf &.
In D-Link's NAT firewall virtual server ports opened as: 20-21 open and 40000-40050 open. No OSX firewall used.
Local connections work fine with or without PASSIVE mode but from outside won't.
Client connecting with PASSIVE mode checked, LOGIN works but after that CMD:LIST hangs client software.
Without PASSIVE mode directory listing works, as also upload and download.
I noticed in transcript when connectig inside localnetwork, ftp client opens ports over 65000.
I'd like to my outside clients using PASSIVE mode for security reasons.
