QT 6 Installer crashed

My computer crashed during Quicktime 6 installation. When I rebooted OS X wouldnt load properly, just before showing the desktop it locks or searches endlessly. Is there anythine else that could be done besides formating ?

um let me check but i think you can reinstall QT 5 from the OS X CD i'll be back after i check

This is shankar again please try to login to safe zone and from there try to delete the QT 6 and try to download the latest version QT 7.0 from www.apple.com
