Quality over Quantity?

I say try to keep a happy mix of both
xoot takes it to the extreme of quantity, some other people are quality, nobody knows which is better, except that it's a pain to read 10 one line posts from xoot all in a row.

Really?! Thanks, ksuther. Anyways, I do try to be meaningful in at least some of my posts. Instead of posting a poll called "Who likes xoot," I will take a more thoughtful step and ask people in this thread. So, who likes my "I-post-too-much" way?

You will become noticed if you post in quantity. But you will also fill up the already limited server, and the bandwith...HA!
If you post for quality, you will also be noticed. You will put all of your thoughts into limited posts, and they will be clear and very easy to understand. People will ask you for your opinions and take them seriously. You will be a better person.
So, I cant believe you would actually create a thread and a poll for this issue. If you had any sense you would realize what you are doing.
See, didnt I sound smart? Quality! If you didnt know any better you would take me seriously.

99% of the Admins on bulleting boards that I go to do not like junk posts. If you think that quantity matters you will manage to get two things to happen
1) You look like a fool in front of your peers because inevitably you post so much junk that people lose respect for you
2) Admins get irritated at you and ban you for wasting their web space and not contributing to the community
What it worthwhile to note is that counters are finite and eventually your postcount will be 0000, When all is said and done what is important is how much you contribute to the community, how much you learn from the community, and how you handle yourself in the community
