Quark 8.5.1

I've used Quark since v 1.1 in 1985, and welcomed the Passport option as I work in English and Spanish. Everything was fine until yesterday, when I received a free upgrade notice from Quark to 8.5.1

Since then, I cannot save documents, and the DEMO watermark appears on every printed sheet, and I receive a message:

"The activation file for this copy of QuarkXPress has been corrupted. You will need to reinstall this copy of QuarkXpress."

The last copy I bought was 6.5 and since then, I've always accepted free or acceptably priced upgrades, so I have nothing but 6.5 to re-install. Any suggestions on what has gone wrong and how I get back to my HUGE SATISFACTION with Quark, for 25 years. THANKS

Contact the company with the evidence you purchased the paid upgrades and ask them to send you a proper version of the program to reinstall?

Go back to your back-up prior to your upgrade, then contact the company as above?
