Question about moving files...

Hi,

not sure if this is in the right area, but I recently traded my Windows laptop for an iMac G4 desktop. I want to add my files from my iBook to my iMac. Is there a way I can do this?

That's exactly what it's for, and you'll find it in your Utilities Folder, in Applications.

Or when you get the Mac in use the first time, it will ask if you want to bring your files and folders over. Plug in a firewire cable when it instructs to do so, and it will import what you ask it to do.

If it's already in use, you can use target mode anytime to bring anything you need over.
Or use the Migration assistant. All you need in any of these cases is a firewire 400 cable.
