Question about "Webhotel"

Hi!,
I have an hompage at: http://www.macfreak.b3.nu and i allways wanted a very own made "Guestbook" but i allways had problems with that. Now i have the beta of Dreamweaver MX and that is the only program that i have that supports .asp endings. So that´s what i did then i just upploded the needed files and tried to watch the Guestbook and i only saw the asp-text. Now my question is : Is that the webhotels problem or my browsers problem. It must be the webhotels problem because i have sen others guestbook and .asp language so it must be because the webhotke doesn´t support that language so is there any hotel that do this stuff ? (fot free ) .

You will need an ISP that supports ASP for it to work. If it does not then it will be transmitted as text, which is probably what you are seeing.

Regarding ISPs that have ASP, I would actually recommend PHP over ASP. There are plenty of threads discussing this topic, so I won't go into it here.

either way you will need to have a host that supports it. it might be as simple as asking them, but chances are if its free youre not going to get it
