I know MP4 is new, and I expect for things to lag for a while until it's supported by other apps/OSs...
Using Quicktime 6 (Pro) I converted a small amount of music (for testing purposes) to MP4s and noticed that when I imported them to iTunes - there was no information (ID3 Tags) aside from the file name... Does this mean that MP4s do not support Tags? Or is it Quicktime that doesnt (thus does not write the tag to the file)?
I'd hate to enter all the info, but since most where ripped from my own albums it wouldn't be too bad - but I'd rather skip that step. And if I do, will it actually write a tag for the file that can be read by other apps/players (if/when supported)?
Also, does anyone know if the iPod supports MP4s (or know for sure it will in the near future [before I buy one])?
Thanks!
