I am using Flash Cs3 on a Mac 0S 4.11. I have been exporting simple Flash movies- drawn animation without links or AS- with Quick Time 7 Pro; the Qt player is version 7.6. After save and compact I export the movie to the QT animation format with these movie settings:
video is checked (compression: animation; depth: millions of colors; quality: medium; frame rate: 12; key frame rate: 24 and the dimensions are usually uner 500x475).
sound is checked (format: uncompressed; sample rate: 11.025kHz; sample size: 8; channels:1).
prepare for internet streaming is checked with fast start.
Two days ago I exported 8 movies successfully, then could not export and got the message "could not complete operation because of an unknown error". I rebooted the computer several times, and could successfully export to gif animation and the other options, but could not do QT animation export.
The next day everything was fine and I could export to animation.
Then after 5 exports, I get the same message again, but a few hours later everything is working just fine again. It`s almost like QT needs to rejuvenate itself or something, which is weird. But it`s really no issue as long as I know that`s the problem. Anyway, I`m wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
(In case this is relevant, I only recently bought QT pro, and have been using it only for about a week.)
