quickbooks for mac / duplicate deposits

Have quickbooks for mac 6.1, recorded payment from customer into undeposited accounts, however my mousetrack ball stuck and it recorded twice in the chart of accounts but only once in the actual undeposited accounts register. was only able to delete payment once but the other one remains on record in the chart of accounts/undeposited funds. How do I delete the second payment when its not show up in register
