On anything pre qt6, using the back arrow to reverse a movie would be slow as molasses. I'd get the spinning wheel on every frame for like 1 - 2 seconds. Moving forward with the forward arrow was always fine.
On Windows QT, the back arrow worked great. So an Apple product was BETTER on windows than mac!! And quicktime of all things!!!
But now with QT 6 Preview the back arrow is back to perfectly smooth motion again
Proving once again, that hardware is nothing. It's ALLLL software.
