Quicktime - Add

I am having some trouble with this.

I extracted some audio from a QT Movie (mov1), this opened up a new QT file with the audio which I saved (mov2).
I now wanted to add the audio track (mov2) to an existing movie (mov3) which has no sound. So.. I opened up mov2, went 'Select All' from the 'Edit' menu, and then 'Copy' from the edit menu.
I then opened up mov3 and went 'Add' from the 'Edit' menu and then saved the file.
I now trashed the audio file (mov2), and went to open mov3. The movie wouldn't open becuase it couldn't find the audio file which it appears to be relying upon for the audio.

How can I embed the audio into mov3, so mov3 is independent and doesn't reply on mov2?

you have a option of make self contained movie in the save dialog, if you don't select that, the movie file will just load from the other movies and it will basically be a small file using those as instances. I guess i stated that the best way.
