I use a BT headset for Skype. When I want to make a call, I set the sound input/output in the Sound preference pane to the allready paired BT headset. When finished, I set sound input/output back to internal speakers and mic.
With iTunes, VLC, etc., this works perfectly. Only QuickTime Player insists on continuing to play through the BT headset whatever the Sound preference pane says.
The system is an iMac G5 rev. b, 10.4.4, QT Pro 7.04, Player 7.04. Flip4mac 2.0.1 is installed. BT firmware version 3.1965. The headset's properties are probably not important, but it is a SonyEricsson H-610.
