Quicktime VR for OS X?

has a mac beyond repair
My friend brought up a neat idea the other day....so answer to question if youre gonna diss the idea at least. But yeah, he thought it would be cool to take pictures, and then line them up in such a thing like Quicktime VR and create a game like MYST. Now wasnt the original MYST Quicktime VR or something? I remember you had to install quicktime to play it. Is there any Quicktime VR software or something similar for Mac OS X? Thanks

I think it would have used Quickdraw which was the 2D animation engine Apple used to use. Now I think it's all converted to OpenGL.

Does Quicktime VR do more than just panaramic scenes? All I've seen is sort of 360 degree views, but you couldn't move around in them.

QT VR does 3d objects and cubic panoramas with hot spots. As to the idea of a game like Myst - no need for pictures.. just use Terragen to create your own world and export it in QTVR format, and you can even use animation. Pretty cool.
