for the past few days, my laptop mac (ppc) has been randomly going black. It may take 5 minuites or 5 seconds, it even sometimes does it in firewire target disc mode. it is just doing something the all of a sudden the lcd screen goes totally black (#255,255,255) what could be causing this, I wwanted to reinstall osx but 5 mins into the installation, the screen went black and the cdrom stopped reading.
