Random macosx.com appreciation moment

Reading a few current threads I was remind again why i love this place, and it's the only site always on my daily visit list after coming up for 3 years as a pretty regular participant.

I was driven to this random appreciation by seeing LtMaj Burns answering a simple question but going on to give someone a bunch more great advice and improving their mac experience, but I see other examples pretty much every day. I even see it from new people who seems to often spot the vibe straight away. I honestly don't know another board as friendly or welcoming, or at least one that has stayed that way!

Anyway, cheers all, Scott, the tireless Mods and of course all the other members, be they old hands of new faces.

Ditto. And special thanks to Scott who for the past 4 years I've been here has worked tirelessly and has put up with a lot of perfectionism (he he) not to mention trials and tribulations in his own life.

His dedication does not go unnoticed, and thanks to all who use this forum. I love mac and love having this outlet to enhance my experience.

Having spent quite some time on macosx.com myself (I think I've been here since I first installed Mac OS X Public Beta on my then-new blueberry iBook 300), I'd like to express my appreciation as well. There has been a good mix of good and bad days, days of too much traffic (15 threads of "Do I really need a DVD drive to install Tiger?" a day when Tiger was new _was_ a bit too much for me ...) and days of lack thereof - but overall, this place has always seen me coming back.

This site is also a daily stop for me. When I first got on, it amazed me to see how many people knew so much about Macs. Over the last three years I been hanging out on here, I have learned a lot from reading post, and now feel comfortable taking on tech questions in the volunteer section. Thanks to all for a great site!!!!

Yes ideed. Great idea to have posted this thread.
This is a terrific site and there are many good eggs here. I've learned a lot and have read some very good stuff. The exchanges are fun. What I like best is the good humor and the honesty.
I check in from time to time and it is always a pleasure. Viva macosX.com!!
