Hello!
OK, I just heard about the RC5 program a few days ago and I downloaded the Mac OS X Terminal script. I tryed to set it up and configure it but it kept giving me "dnetc: Unable to initialize timers." messages. Finally, one of the people in the Distributed.net IRC chat room suggested I set my Date and Time ahead a few days. I tried this and it worked and I have processed a bunch of packets. I now have two problems:
First of all I was told that Distributed.net would give me a password at midnight when they process my packets. I have not heard one word from them. Am I doing things right?
Secondly, I tried launching the RC5 script today and got the same "dnetc: Unable to initialize timers." message. So, I took a trip to the System Prefs and changed my time and tried again. Same error. Does anyone know why this is happening?
FYI: I am running OS 10.13, is this compatible with the current RC5 scripts?
Thanks for your help!
Have a great day!
Albert
