Re-activating Bootcamp

Okay here's the problem.

My sister got a macbook about 2 weeks ago and she installed boot camp on it. It was working fine but after about three days, the computer would not switch on and the people at the macshop said it was due to faulty hardware. So she got a new macbook but now when she tries to reinstall bootcamp on it, it says that is already in use on her older macbook. So the question is: How can she reactivate bootcamp on her new computer?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Ps: THe person at the macshop said you should be able to reactivate it but he is not sure how.

You mean activate XP? You need to phone Microsoft, and explain that you have replaced hardware, and you need a new activation.

As in, call the microsoft in my country and tell them what has happened, then ask for an activation code? Ummm...is there like an exact hotline i will need to call?

Hold on. When i called them, they say that if it is an OEM software then we cannot reactivate it. But that cant be!

If it's an OEM, remember that the OEM is only meant to be installed on a computer that's built either for sale or whatnot. You can't transfer it to another PC. This is why it's OEM and not meant for consumer use. It's meant to ship with the computer that's built/shipped for it and only that one computer. That's the caveat with OEM Windows, despite how cheap it is.
