after having used os x.1 for more than two months, today for the first time it froze completely and i had to reboot. then, when i started mail, it just quit and it is impossible to start it anymore. in the logs i can find little information:
2001-12-16 21:41:16.388 Mail[408] Unknown specified charset "DEFAULT"--treating as ISO-8859-1
i have already switched to another mail application (eudora), but unfortunately it cannot read mail mailboxes...
anyone with a solution to this? any way (apart from reinstalling os x) to reinstall only mail to be able to export the mailboxes?
