no real player for os-x.... i am tired of having to use classic to play the streaming audio i am fond of... any other way???

also ie saves the .ram file to the desktop then i have to double click it to get real player to open.... can i make it open automoatically like it does in os-9??

There is a real player for OSX...it just came out 2 days ago I think...

First, download and install the new real player for OS X (RealOne).

If IE still just saves the .ram to the desktop, go to Preferences->Helpers, find the entries for Real Audio (.ram, etc.), click the "browse" button and select your RealOne player.

IE should automatically run RealOne and remove the .ram file when it is finished.

If you don't wan't it downloaded to the desktop, go to Preferences->Download. There you will find a choice something like:

+ Always download to the download folder
OR
+ Download to a helper specified location

Choose the second one.

My real question is how do you do define "helpers" in OmniWeb?
