Happy birthday to me ... well, in two days. So anyway, I finally received my iPod today! I guess it's not that big of a deal, but the anticipation I went through was. I ordered it last week while on vacation in South Carolina. It came Thursday, the day before I came back. However, we told our neighbors to collect our mail till we got back ... BUT they left for vacation the day we got back ... only hours before we returned home! They were supposed to leave the mail in our garage using a key of ours they had, but they had an old key and we had switched locks since then. So there my iPod was, sitting next door ... and there was nothing I could do. I mean, I could of used the key we had to their house to get in ... but they have a security system, and my parents wouldn't let me explain to the cops my situation ... what gives? But everything is OK now. Too bad I can't use it yet, I'm still waiting for my 17" iMac ... which shipped Monday so it should be here tomorrow hopefully. So what do I think of the iPod? It's awesome. The scroll wheel does take a little getting used to. It's sensitivity is nothing like that of a laptop trackpad ... which is a good thing IMO. But the remote? That must be a joke, it's not much larger than a quarter. A little too small for my likings. And I must say I like the case quite a bit. It hasn't scratched the back of the iPod yet ... and don't see that it will. Even if it does, who cares, it's the back, no one see's it. Well I'll try to get pictures of my new iMac if I get it tomorrow.
