Reconnect Windows sharing: an idiot question ??

Jaguar into a PC (samba) network.
I an trying to understand how to create a shortcut to volumes I would like to reconnect quickly.
It seems (to me) a so useful problem, i didn't find help. PLEASE HELP ME
I have these problems:
-- I would like to avoid all times retype pwd;
-- in 10.1. I used script with "tell finder" command, It doesn't run on 10.2;
-- preferences alias doesn't works;
-- I store pwd into kychain but it doesn't works.

May someone help me.. I have a choiche, create a UNIX script and use mount command but I am looking for a Finder solutions.

once the volume is mounted on your desktop you can drag it into the login items to have it mount on login.:)
