Out of complete stupidity i saved an old version of a file (from a USB disk) over a new version, which represented about a weeks work! As I said, I have no excuse apart from being an idiot.
I have heard that you can recover old versions of files (i.e older saved versions) but would not have the first clue how to do this. The file is a Neooffice text document (.odt).
Is there any way of doing this or is this a lost cause?
