Reinstall OS 10.4 on iMac G5 with broken CD/DVd drive

How can I reinstall the OS on my G5 iMac without the CD/DVD drive (there's a disc inside that cannot be extracted!!)
I have another iMac (Intel and a MacBook Pro)

I need to reinstall 'cos all sorts of trifling little details are making it awkward to use but I still need it. Would having a Timecapsule help? I've got one on order.

First of all, are these discs the discs that came with the iMac?

Well the most obvious is to use an external CD-ROM drive, but if I remember correctly, you need a a CD-ROM drive with a firewire connection or it will not be able to boot.

The only few ways really to install without a drive are to put the broken computer into target mode and connect it with the exact same model of computer, otherwise that type of disc will not work. However, if it is the generic disc, then it will work with any type of PowerPC computer.

TimeCapsule will allow you to restore your current configuration, but not allow you to install a brand new system.
