Reinstalling Firefox

I am having some seriously weird problems with FireFox, and I really need to reinstall it. I'm not new to Macs, but honestly I don't know how to do this without losing my saved passwords, bookmarks, etc. that I find VERY important. How do I delete and reinstall FireFox without losing my info? And, how do I import my preserved info into the new FireFox?

You can always export your bookmarks bu going going into Bookmarks and then Manage Bookmarks. Once that window opens, select File-->Export and you're ready to save all your bookmarks.

To import them once you've got FF reinstalled, go back into the Manage Bookmarks section under the Bookmarks menu, and import.

Dump the whole Firefox folder, saving your 'bookmarks.html' file and cookies

Trash this file also;

org.mozilla.firefox.plist

in the preferences folder.
