Hello all,
I am posting here in hopes that someone might know how to release an IP that has been given out by a DHCP server. I use both a PC and my TiBook at home. When I switch to my Mac I have to release my IP in WinXp:
C:\ipconfig \release-all
But I do not know how to do it in OS X...so currently my IP is being held hostage by my MAC until I can figure this one out
. I talked with apple support and they were of no help. I know there must be a way of releasing the IP in OSX, other than unplugging my ethernet line.
