Reliable matroska file player

I need something reliable, I know Quicktime with Perian, VLC, and MPlayer don't work. Any ideas?

In what way do they not work? All three work quite well for me, although VLC has terrible subtitle support.

VLC messes up and crashes all too often, Quicktime/Perian cuts the video in half, and MPlayer doesn't give sound.
