Hi, (feel free to skip to the second paragraph) I've been a mac user for 3 or 4 years now but I still use a really low-end mac. It's an Imac(G3) DV 400mhz, 512mb SDRAM, running Mac OS X 10.4.6 . Quite recently we got a Power Mac G4 ( mirrored drive doors ), We got the thing for free with no harddrive, ram, keyboard, mouse, monitor or videocard. It apparently still works and we've gotten all of the parts for it but a video card. Assuming the videocard would still work in there, we can't even get one for a few months.
Is there a way to remote login to the G4 from the Imac G3. Before putting the harddrive in the G4, I put it in the G3 first and installed tiger 10.4.5 and turned on remote login and etc. in the system preferences. I can connect to the harddrive but when I try to remote login through terminal it won't let me. any ideas?
