Removing Norton Utilities

Hi All,

I stupidly installed NU on my new G4 powerbook. I really think the software is junk on the Mac so tried to uninstall via the disk. It didn't work so I started doing it manually. Problem is I can't get rid of the icons it dropped in my system prefs - autoprotect, filesaver and quickmenu. Anyone know how to pull these weeds out once and for all? Thanks.

Check in Library/Application Support and Preferences, maybe there are still some folders in there...
 
If you mean icons in the System preferences, look here;

user>library>PreferencePanes
