Removing OS9 from OSX Disk/Partition?

I've set up a smaller drive with OS9, so now I'm just curious if it's safe to remove OS9 from my main OSX drive - and how?

Do I just simply delete the System Folder and the Applications (Mac OS 9) folder? Or what?
 
If you really want to delete it, just trash the System Folder with the 9 logo on it.

It's really takes up little space, so I'd keep it for future compatability.. There are some apps that will never make it to OS X and you never know when you'll need them for one reason or another.
 
Oh I don't mean completly removing OS9 from my system... I've installed it on another, smaller drive. I do have a bunch of programs I can't yet afford to buy OSX versions (Adobe suite and Utils), so completly removing OS9 never crossed my mind. :)
