Removing plastic front on G4

Hello I'm new to the Mac world so please bear with me. I am going to install a superdrive in place of of the existing CDRW/DVD ROM. I can't get the plastic front off of the machine. I beleive it is a mirrored door? One plastic piece for the whole front of the machine.

Looking at the machine from the side with it opened, you should see plastic tabs on the face plate. Push them back and it'll open.
