Resize partition problem

Hi guys,

I need some help, I want to install a boot camp version of Windows but I have already partitioned my drive. When trying to run boot camp it says that the drive must not be partitioned.

I used gparted live to delete and join the unformatted drives but it will not allow me to join this to my main drive.

Is this possible or will I have to reinstall?

You need the main drive in one partition for being able to install Boot Camp.

If you have an external drive, you could copy your system to it with Carbon Copy Cloner, then partition the system to one partition only, and then restore to that CCC image.
That would at least save the time of importing all your data over or doing a full reinstall.
