Retrieve Old Mail

I just upgraded to Leopard from Panther. Mail is completely devoid of my old mail in all boxes. I can get old mail from my Inbox online from my ISP's web mail.

But what about my Sent mail? Is it hiding out somewhere in my hard drive or was I supposed to save it somehow before I installed Leopard?

I just assumed all my old mail would be there just as all of my old Bookmarks are there in the new Safari.
