Revamped website

Your "LINX" page opens in the left frame, not the main browser window. And don't make active links to the same page.

Ok, I fixed the first problem. by the second do you mean that the links should open in a new window? I'll do that

No, I personally HATE when people open new browser windows. What I meant was that on the main page, for example, the "MAIN" link opens the same page that is already open in the main browser window. I personally think it's poor web design when this happens. Usually it's worse, though when it's in tables. I think it's lazy web design.

But it's a good way to keep people on your site. I, personally, just open new windows when people click links on my blogroll.

No, its a bad way to keep people on your site. It makes me mad when it opens a new window. Don't do it. The back button is there for a reason. The user should decide if they want a new browser window.

i agree with Jeff. although i like the way the forum software opens a window for attachments so i can just close them and then use my back button. there's always good exceptions to every rule, and my rule is i don't like having 2 or more pages of a site and its links all sitting out.

Exactly my opinion. The context menu has the option to open the link in a new browser window for a reason. All browsers I have used have that option. The Back button is also there for a reason. It really does piss me off when sites open new browser windows.
