Rotated display, now I can't see anything

I was 'playing' with Tiger on my Mac Mini. I selected 90 degree rotation and evidently my old CRT monitor can't handle it. I don't have any display at all. I connected it to my Samsung LCD and it looks fine. When I connect it back to the CRT, no display.

I booted into 'Safe Mode' by holding down the Shift key until the spinning gear appears. I can't find any CRT monitor profile to delete, so I'm stuck.

I did the PRAM and PM? resets according to Apple tech support, but that didn't help.

Anyone know?

TIA,
Neb

Erh... Whew. PRAM would've been my guess. NVRAM is the next. Search Apple's support pages for zapping the NVRAM on the Mac mini.

As a last resort, I'd install Tiger as if you were upgrading to Tiger, i.e. just install again. Maybe it'll work.

You could also use that LCD to create a new user. Maybe that user will have rotation set to off?

Maybe if there is a way to reset the monitors settings? My CRT (not the one in sig) has a little reset button on the back to reset all monitor saved settings.
