Here's the setup,
Windows XP computer connected to internet with LAN sharing. --> My ibook with OS 10.4.4
That works fine, I can connect to the internet with no problems at all. Insert a router/hub ANYWHERE in the network and I instantly loose the ability to get the internet. Remove it and all works fine.
the router is a wireless Dlink DSL -604+/GUK V.A4 and the hub is a Linksys 10/100 5-port workgroup hub.
Personally, I think It's something to do with the fact the internet is essentially going through 2 routers (the winXP comp and the router/hub) and whatever my Mac is getting it doesn't like.
Also, when I plug my windows comp into this setup I have no problems at all.
