I just purchased Roxio Popcorn 3 from best Buy. I am fairly new to Mac, but have not had problems thus far. When I have installed other programs it asks for the CD key and then I have to put in the admin password for my mac to allow the install. I did the same for popcorn three. Since I enter this password every time I start up my machine i do it very quickly. Popcorn did not accept my password the first time, i typed it in again a second time quickly and it didn't accept it. THe third time i got nervous and pecked it in very carefully to ensure it was correct and it locked me out. The file for POpcorn 3 is in my applications folder, but when i click it to open it the popcorn icon appears on my toolbar and then disappears after a few seconds. I tried to uninstall the program, shut down and re-install the program. the problem remains...Popcorn 3 will not start. I tried to get support from Roxio, but their help section had no reference for this problem and their support folks have not gotten back to me. Perhaps I need to contact Mac? If anyone has suggestions for this please let me know. I would be grateful! - Doug
